Pinkie Rae's Closet is for women in their 30s and 40s who love fashion but don't want to overspend to look good at it. I believe getting older shouldn't mean giving up on style, and staying current shouldn't mean dressing like you're trying to be 20 again and I believe you can hit that sweet spot (feminine, polished, current, completely your own) without blowing your budget.

My favorite way to do this is thrifting. I shop thrift stores, estate sales, and resale apps the way most people shop the mall hunting for pieces with some history and I'll always show you how to find a look secondhand first. But I'm also realistic: sometimes secondhand isn't practical, sometimes a trend needs the right fit or fabric you can only get new, and sometimes I just find a genuinely great deal at a retailer worth sharing.

I'm answering the questions I get asked (and ask myself) all the time:
